Mental health is foundational to overall well-being—it affects daily thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The World Health Organization (WHO) estimates that one-in-seven people globally have a mental health or substance use disorder. Supporting mental wellness requires consistent effort and attention, an ability to identify mental health concerns, and knowing where to seek support...and this challenge can help participants do just that!
To start, participants will learn important information about mental health, including warning signs, suicide prevention, and where (and how) to seek support. They will then earn Wellable Points for practicing daily Self-Care Activities designed to strengthen their mental health. There is an additional opportunity for participants to make a Personal Commitment To Mental Health to take an active role in destigmatizing and supporting this critical area of well-being for themselves and others!
For each Self-Care Activity a participant practices, they will be entered into a raffle to win a reward. A bonus raffle will award a prize to two participants that make a Personal Commitment To Mental Health. Grand prizes will also be awarded at the end of the challenge to three participants using a Wellable Points-based raffle where each Wellable Point earned equals one entry into the raffle.
The raffle structure helps stretch a rewards budget for maximum impact by encouraging participation throughout the challenge, as the odds of winning a prize increases with the more Self-Care Activities a participant practices and with the more Wellable Points a participant earns.

During the challenge, participants are encouraged to learn about mental health and available resources to seek personal support for themselves, or to give support to someone who is struggling. After learning the warning signs of mental health challenges, importance of suicide prevention, and ways to give and receive support, participants can make a Personal Commitment To Mental Health to take an active role in supporting this critical area of well-being. This activity can be logged for Wellable Points once during the challenge but can be practiced as often as the participant would like.
At the beginning of the challenge, participants receive educational content about different ways to practice self-care and how self-care benefits physical and mental health. Each day of the challenge, participants earn Wellable Points for engaging in Self-Care Activities. This Special Activity can be logged once per day during the challenge.
