Overview


The start of a new year is the perfect time to focus on making healthy, positive changes! The New Year Solutions Challenge helps participants set effective goals by learning how to make them S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely).

To start, participants will learn about S.M.A.R.T. goals and create at least one personal goal to work toward. Tips and tricks for accomplishing goals will be provided throughout the challenge, along with a weekly opportunity for participants to learn different ways to continue moving forward, reflect on what has been accomplished, and track any progress that has been made.

Recommended Reward Structure

For each Goal Setting Exercise a participant completes, they will be entered into a raffle to win a reward. Grand prizes will also be awarded at the end of the challenge to three participants using a Wellable Points-based raffle where each Wellable Point earned equals one entry into the raffle.

The raffle structure helps stretch a rewards budget for maximum impact by encouraging participation throughout the challenge, as the odds of winning a prize increases with the more Goal Setting Exercises a participant completes and with the more Wellable Points a participant earns.

Wellable Points can be earned by tracking other fitness activities, such as yoga, aerobics, and weightlifting, through one of Wellable's partner apps or by manually these logging activities in a Wellable User Account.

Wellable Points can be earned by tracking meals and snacks consumed each day through one of Wellable's partner apps. Wellable Points are earned regardless of what the specific food entry may be.

At the beginning of the challenge, participants receive educational content to learn about setting S.M.A.R.T. goals (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Timely). Once the challenge starts, they will be encouraged to create at least one goal to work toward. Each week after the start of the challenge, participants will receive an opportunity to learn different ways to continue moving forward, reflect on what has been accomplished, and track any progress that has been made. Participants will earn Wellable Points after logging the completion of each Goal Setting Exercise. Each exercise can be logged for Wellable Points once during the challenge but can be completed as often as the participant would like.
