Overview

During the World Longevity Challenge, participants embark on an educational journey to virtually explore the Blue Zones® - five places around the globe known to have the healthiest, longest living populations. During their travels, participants will learn about the lifestyles and habits of each unique culture and see the trends between these communities that have aided in prolonging and enjoying life.

This challenge can be configured as an individual- or team-based program. For each of the five weeks during the challenge, participants earn Wellable Points to virtually travel across the globe to visit the different communities. To make it to each community, they must achieve or exceed the level of Wellable Points associated with each one.

Recommended Reward Structure

For each location a participant travels to, they will be entered into a raffle to win a reward, so the odds of winning increases as a participant visits more locations during the challenge. Participants that travel to Loma Linda, U.S. - the last stop in the journey - will be entered into all five raffles.

The raffle structure helps stretch a rewards budget for maximum impact by encouraging participants to challenge themselves to reach the next location in their travels. With fewer participants reaching subsequent locations, the odds of winning increase as participants work to make it to the next stop on their journey.

Teams are ranked by the average number of Wellable Points for all members of a team. This means that teammates with zero Wellable Points during a challenge will lower the score of the entire team, which is why encouraging your teammates to stay active throughout the challenge is so important.
