Designed to reduce stress and improve concentration, participants are guided through a mindfulness practice that involves being fully focused on “the now” to acknowledge and accept thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment.

While there are various types of meditation, this class offers a mindfulness meditation practice. Mindfulness meditation is a mental state that involves being fully focused on “the now” to acknowledge and accept thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgment.

This class does not require prior meditation experience to enjoy its health benefits, including stress reduction and enhanced self-awareness as well as improved overall well-being. In fact, it is recommended that those starting out begin with guided meditation where sessions are led by an experienced instructor.

The total class time is 30 minutes. This includes an instructor introduction, practice of meditation, and answering of any participant questions.

Registration for the class closes when the event begins.
