Overview

This class is designed to give participants an opportunity to exercise both their mind and body through relaxing movement! Known as "meditation in motion", tai chi is a low impact, slow motion exercise consisting of a series of continuous motions, focusing on the breath and bodily sensations.

Upon registering, participants will receive a calendar invite that includes a link to join the class. Refer to the promotional materials in the event’s Implementation Guide for more details about the registration process.

This class does not require any prior experience to enjoy the health benefits of tai chi, including the reduction of stress and anxiety as well as increased balance, strength, cognitive function, and flexibility.

The total class time is 60 minutes. This includes an instructor introduction, practice of tai chi, and answering of any participant questions.

Registration for the class closes when the event begins.
